Typically you would be tasked with visiting Hospitals/Clinics or Pharmacies. Usually visiting several sites daily. The aim of every role is to grow the business of the Medical Device Company that you work for.

You would be provided with a very good basic salary & some form of bonus/commission based on sales achievement.

A company car or a car scheme would be part of your package. Also Pension, Healthcare & all the equipment to carry-out the role.

A life science degree or clinical experience are useful but generally the companies are prepared to look at your background and life experience too.
