Typically you would be tasked with visiting Hospitals/Clinics or Pharmacies. Usually visiting several sites daily. The aim of every role is to grow the business of the Medical Device Company that you work for.

You would be provided with a very good basic salary & some form of bonus/commission based on sales achievement.

A company car or a car scheme would be part of your package. Also Pension, Healthcare & all the equipment to carry-out the role.

A life science degree or clinical experience are useful but generally the companies are prepared to look at your background and life experience too. The clinical side of the job can be taught ‘on the job’ and all the companies we work with provide very comprehensive technical training for new recruits.

A Sales Associate straight from University should expect to start on a salary between £28 – 35K
Sales Rep salaries range from £35 – 45K
Field Service Engineers can earn between £35 – £42K
Regional Sales Managers typically earn £50K – £70K
National Sales Managers £70K – £90K
Product Managers £42 – £60K depending on experience
Marketing Managers £65K – £90K

All roles will attract a bonus but direct sales roles attract the best bonus with £10 -£50K per annum depending on whether you are selling disposable or capital equipment.
